With the arrival of the new Brawl Stars update, Clubs have been reworked to see old features make way for new ones such as the Mega Pig event. Here are all the details.
In the Season 21 update, Club League and Club Games were removed from Brawl Stars together with the Club Coin currency and the Club Shop.
If you had any remaining Club Coins, half of them were converted into regular Coins, and the other half were converted into Power Points. After the update, Skins will only be available for Bling or Gems in the Shop or the Catalog.
Additional improvements were made to the overall flow and structure of Clubs in Brawl Stars. This includes streamlining the invitation process for new Club members, the search for Clubs, and the ability to share match replays in the Club chat.
On top of all this, the novel Mega Pig event was introduced to Brawl Stars. We will explain how it works below.
Brawl Stars Mega Pig Event Explained
After the removal of all the previous features available for Clubs, the Brawl Stars team will introduce a new Club event called Mega Pig. The event will happen only once a month and will be live for an entire weekend. During the event, you and every other Club member will be given a certain amount of Tickets.
Matches won using these Tickets will fill the Mega Pig. Simply put, the more Ticket wins, the more rewards. These will get progressively better as players fill the Pig.
With so much on the line, if you plan on fully maximizing the rewards you can get from the Mega Pig, it would be advisable to join a full and active Club.
After you use all of your Tickets, you will still be able to help other Club members. But keep in mind that only their Tickets will contribute to filling up the Mega Pig.
After the event ends, the Mega Pig will explode and reward players with items such as Coins, Power Points, Bling, and several Starr Drops.
If you are the top contributor in your Club, you will receive additional Starr Drops.
Mega Pig Event Match Gameplay
Matches in the Mega Pig event will have a "fresh take on randomness" as Supercell likes to call it. When you play a match during the event, you will get a random game mode, map, and random modifier.
Games are structured to be a best-of-1, so if you win, you will have your Tickets contributed to filling up the Mega Pig.
Despite the overwhelming randomness of the event, there is still a small amount of choice available. When you enter a match, there will be a Picking Phase that is similar to the Power League. However, no brawlers need to be banned and opponents will not know who you have picked.
With this in mind, the goal of any Mega Pig match is to make the most of the random circumstances by selecting the best possible team composition for it.
Modifiers Available In Mega Pig Event
Now, game modes and maps are nothing too out of the ordinary for the regular Brawl Stars players. What is new, however, is the introduction of game modifiers that will be available during Mecha Pig games.
They are largely similar to the brawler modifiers, but instead of affecting a single brawler, the entire game and map are influenced by the modifier chosen.
There are currently three modifiers active in Brawl Stars. These include:
- Super Bushy: Bushes constantly grow from other bushes on the map.
- Instant Overtime: All walls, bushes, and other obstacles instantly break when the match starts.
- Unlimited Power: You can get Showdown Power Cubes in 3v3 matches when defeating enemy brawlers.
- Classic: No game modifiers will be active.
These modifiers have the potential to completely shake up a game to the point where ordinary strategy and tactics have no effect. That said, there has never been a better time to ensure that your brawler is the best one possible.
