After almost two and a half years of waiting, the Zombies Classic game mode has returned to Call of Duty: Mobile.

Zombies Classic has plenty of fans, allowing players to team up, build defenses, upgrade weapons, and of course, fight off waves and waves of zombies.

However, the game mode can prove difficult, especially when you ramp it up to the hardcore setting, and that is why kitting yourself out with the best guns is as good a strategy as any.

The best guns in Zombies Classic are very different from the best guns in the conventional multiplayer or battle royale game modes, with some guns uniquely capable of sending the undead back from where they came.

So, if you want to become the ultimate zombie slayer, you have come to the right place. Below we list the top five weapons for the Zombies Classic game mode, featuring weapons that suit every playstyle.

Best Guns In Zombies Classic (2024)

Before we get into the best guns, let's look at how you get custom weapons and how you can upgrade them.

How Do You Get Custom Weapons In Zombies Classic?

You can create five custom loadouts to take into Zombies Classic; this can be done from the loadout menu before you enter the game.

Once in the game, you will need to find the Ordnance machine. Using this machine, you can buy armor (1000 coins), refill ammo (500 coins), or purchase one of the five loadouts you have created (3000 coins).

The Ordnance machine can be found on the bottom floor of the starting barn.

The best way to acquire coins is by killing zombies and completing side missions.

How Do You Upgrade Weapons In Zombies Classic?

Upgrading weapons is done using the Pack-a-Punch machine. In normal and hardcore modes, the guns can be upgraded five times; in endless, they can be upgraded ten times.

Each upgrade is more expensive than the last, though it is worth it, as each upgrade increases damage by 50% and reduces reload time by the same amount.

The Best Weapons

Now, let's take a look at five of the best weapons you can use in Zombies Classic.

RPD

This LMG eats zombies for breakfast, especially if you equip the Cooling Compressor Barrel, the RPD's signature attachment.

This attachment essentially allows you to shoot an infinite amount of bullets, perfect for mowing down wave after wave of zombies.

ZRG 20MM Or DL Q33

Either of these heavy-hitting snipers is great for taking out zombies. Line up two or more zombies, and one shot may be all it takes.

Once upgraded, these snipers are also great for the endgame boss, dealing huge damage with every shot. Make sure at least one of your squad runs the game with this.

SKS

This semi-auto marksman rifle is fantastic in Zombies Classic, accurate at range, powerful enough to one-shot most zombies, and it won't run out of ammo fast.

Upgrading it to level 5 almost feels like cheating, with its increased damage and reduced reload times making mince meat out of the endgame boss.

AK-47

Not the most popular assault rifle in the normal game modes, the AK-47 is something else entirely in Zombies Classic.

The high-caliber rounds down zombies quickly, and there is plenty of ammo to go around, meaning you won't struggle to keep the AK-47 in the fight.

JAK-12

Shotguns are great in Zombies Classic; their pellets capable of taking out two or three zombies at a time.

The JAK-12, which is semi-automatic, is especially good and excels when those zombie dogs start teleporting close by.

Not great for the endgame; make sure you pick up another of the guns listed to help finish off the boss.
