If you've been playing Fortnite for some time, then you might recall the MK7. It's a weapon that initially debut in the game during Chapter 3, Season 1. Known for its ability to rapidly unload damage, it was also notorious for its unique red dot sight (instead of the default slight zoom) which offered players improved aiming accuracy.

Unfortunately, the MK7 was absent from Fortnite after Chapter 3, Season 3. Fortunately for everyone, this weapon has returned to the game in Chapter 4, Season 3 in the form of the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle. It's an upgraded version of the cult classic and it packs quite a significant punch.

There are two ways you can get the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle in Fortnite:

  • On the ground
  • In Chests

Needless to say, the higher the rarity, the harder it is to be found.

Alternatively, you can get a Mythic version of the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle in Fortnite by defeating the Wildguard Relik Boss. You can find this boss in Rumble Ruins. You will also be rewarded with a Mythic version of the Cloak Gauntlets.

The MK-Alpha Assault Rifle comes in various rarities which span from Common to Mythic. The higher the rarity, the more the damage. However, the rate of fire and magazine size remain the same across all rarity levels.
