A preview of the events coming to Genshin Impact in Summer Fantasia has been revealed by the HoYoverse team. Here's all the details you need to know about it!
We have our first look at the events that will be dropping in Genshin Impact once Summer Fantasia is released! It will be a collection of four events: three Event Wish, and one normal event. These are all limited-time events that will reward players with a variety of rewards, boosts, and weapons. Keep an eye out as you may see some of your favorite characters too! It's another exciting time in Genshin Impact as HoYoverse continues to deliver on the impressive string of in-game content.
Though the announcement from the devs is simply event previews, there is still a lot of information to unpack. So, let's go through it all!
"Leaves In The Wind" Event Wish
The "Leaves in the Wind" Event Wish will be available when Summer Fantasia is released on July 13, 2022, and will end on August 2, 2022.
During the event, the event-exclusive five-star character "Scarlet Leaves Pursue Wild Waves" Kaedehara Kazuha (Anemo) will be receiving a massive drop-rate boost. This means that you'll have a higher chance of obtaining him in this limited-time event.
Moreover, four-star characters will receive a similar drop-rate boost. These are:
- "Analytical Harmony" Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo)
- "Eclipsing Star" Ningguang (Geo)
- "Protector From Afar" Thoma (Pyro)
"Analytical Harmony" Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo) will be available as a four-star character in the standard Wish "Wanderlust Invocation" in the update after v2.8 Summer Fantasia in Genshin Impact.
"Sparkling Steps" Event Wish
The "Sparkling Steps" Event Wish will be available when Summer Fantasia is released on July 13, 2022, and will end on August 2, 2022.
The event-exclusive five-star character "Fleeing Sunlight" Klee (Pyro) will be receiving a massive drop-rate boost during this event.
Additionally, four-star characters will receive a similar boost in their drop rates. These characters are:
- "Analytical Harmony" Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo)
- "Eclipsing Star" Ningguang (Geo)
- "Protector From Afar" Thoma (Pyro)
"Analytical Harmony" Shikanoin Heizou (Anemo) will be available as a four-star character in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation" in the update after v2.8 Summer Fantasia in Genshin Impact.
"Epitome Invocation" Event Wish
The "Epitome Invocation" Event Wish will be available when Summer Fantasia is released on July 13, 2022, and will end on August 2, 2022.
The event-exclusive five-star weapon Freedom-Sworn (Sword) and the non-event-exclusive five-star weapon Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (Catalyst) will receive a drop-rate boost.
On top of that, four-star weapons will similarly receive a drop-rate boost. There will be a mix of event-exclusive weapons and non-event-exclusive weapons. The event-exclusive weapons are:
- The Alley Flash (Sword)
- Mitternachts Waltz (Bow)
The non-event-exclusive weapons are:
- Rainslasher (Claymore)
- Favonius Lance (Polearm)
- The Widsith (Catalyst)
Travelers may use "Epitomized Path" to chart a course towards one of the promotional five-star weapons such as Freedom-Sworn (Sword) or Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (Catalyst). Note that none of the weapons mentioned above will be available in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation".
"Summertime Odyssey" Event
The "Summertime Odyssey" event will be available from July 17, 2022, until the end of v2.8 in Genshin Impact.
During this event, Travelers will need to complete specific tasks in "Surfpiercer" and "Phantom Realms" to be rewarded with items such as Primogems, Hero's Wit, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
Completing the "Phantom Realms" challenges will reward Travelers with Iridescent Flotsam. If a specific number of Iridescent Flotsam is collected, "Prinzessin der Verurteilung" Fischl (Electro) can be invited to accompany you during this event. Alternatively, Iridescent Flotsam can be exchanged for rewards such as Crown of Insight, Character Level-Up Materials, and Talent Level-Up Materials from the Event Shop.
Keep in mind that there is an eligibility criterion that needs to be fulfilled before you can participate in the "Summertime Odyssey" event. These are:
- Adventure Rank 32 or above
- Completed Archon Quest Chapter II: Prologue "Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves"
- Completed Mona's Story Quest "Astrolabos Chapter: Act I - Beyond This World's Stars"
