Marvel Snap takes home the 'Best Mobile Game' award at the Game Awards 2022.
Less than 60 days after its global launch, Marvel Snap has beat the likes of Apex Legends Mobile, Diablo Immortal, Genshin Impact, and Tower of Fantasy to win this year's 'Best Mobile Game' award at the Game Awards 2022.
The fast-paced card battler has taken a niche spin on the classic collectible card game genre by introducing new board mechanics, exciting card art, and tie-ins to superheroes and villains from Marvel's long and illustrious lore.
It was a surprise win for developers Second Dinner as they were coming up against established mobile titles from HoYoverse, Blizzard, and Respawn Entertainment. But evidently, they defied the odds and won the coveted award.
Chief Development Officer, Ben Brode, had this to say in his speech:

Brode takes home his second 'Best Mobile Game' award as he had previously won the award in 2014 when he was the Game Director at Blizzard's collectible card game: Hearthstone.
