Who's the best sister of them all? Asher of course!
The Unbreakable Wall, Asher, is an unstoppable force of nature in the ring in Omega Striker.
Her favourite things in life are her family and team. If you mess with her teammates, Juno or Luna, you can expect to find yourself in a world of hurt.
One of the best things about Asher is her ability to be an offensive and defensive menace at the drop of a hat.
Defending the core from going in her goal or making sure the core goes in the opponent's goal at all times!
Asher's Abilities
Here are Asher's abilities in Omega Strikers:
- Breakthrough: DASH forward with your shields raised, stopping on the first enemy struck and dealing a MEDIUM hit to nearby opponents.
- Strike Barrier: Hit the Core in a direction and rotate any active barrier. Passive: Casting abilities CREATE or replace a frontal barrier that blocks enemies and deals LIGHT hits.
- Arc Beam (Primary): Ready a burst of energy that deals a LIGHT hit to all enemies in an arc [while slowing Asher by 30% while firing]. Enemies caught in the center take a HEAVY hit instead.
- Pathsplitter (Special): Combine both shields and launch them forward as a PROJECTILE. If they hit an enemy, they expand to CREATE a slow-moving, destructible barrier that can repeatedly deal with MEDIUM hits to enemies. Deals reduced damage after the first hit.
How To Play Asher
What you may notice is that Asher loves her shields. And thankfully, all of her skills are focused around them.
Ideally, you want to use her Strike Barrier to place down a barrier on the field.
When the core is hit again, the shield, if it's still up, will rotate, so ideally, you can block from two angles at a time. This will also work with her special, Pathsplitter.
Pathsplitter is an amazing way to open the middle of the court for a nice goal. Pathsplitter essentially can block off players from two sides.
Using her Dash is also an amazing skill, this is a way that she can swap goalkeeper to forward or back and forth.
She can also use this to get nice saves by shielding an ally about to get hit with a core or attack from an enemy.
