To start building your team in the game, you must know about certain mechanics like the Faction Bonus and Faction Strategies, etc.

How To Build The Best Teams In AFK Journey
In AFK Journey, you can build the best team comps by utilizing the Faction bonus and strategies while ensuring you have units with different roles.
How Does The Faction Bonus & Strategies Works?
The faction bonus in AFK Journey comes into play whenever players have three or more characters of the same faction in the team comp.
These bonuses come in the form of increased attributes like HP and ATK bonuses.
While AFK Journey features six factions, Celestial and Hypergean are neutral and can work with other factions to gain faction bonuses.
On the other hand, when it comes to faction strategy, enemies in AFK Journey are weak against certain factions.
How Many Factions Are There In AFK Journey?
There are six factions in AFK Journey. These are:

Setting Up Your Team
The teams in AFK Journey are comprised of five units. Now, when it comes to set up your team, we recommend having the following roles:
- Tank
- DPS
- DPS
- Support
- Any
There are no restrictions on creating team comps. So, if you want, you can go to all DPS, single DPS, most support, etc.
However, the most efficient team comp would consist of a Tank, Support, and at least two or three DPS units.
However, you can use the 'Any' slot to have a Specialist on the team rather than going three DPS.
