The Honkai Star Rail universe keeps expanding with fresh new updates. This month we are going to be getting the glorious 1.3 update on August 30, and of course, later this year, there will be another wonderful update for us to enjoy.
In this article, we are going to go over some of the rumors and leaks buzzing about the Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update.

Honkai Star Rail 1.4 Release Date & Countdown
Currently, there is no leaked or official release date for the up-and-coming Honkai Star Rail update.
Since the game is having its 1.3 update next week, we can do some deductions and make a guess that the new 1.4 update should be available in October.

Remember, Hoyoverse usually releases updates for their games every 42 days, featuring two phases, where each phase runs for 21 days.

Honkai Star Rail 1.4 New Characters
There are three characters that have been revealed to come out in the new Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update.
Jingliu
Jingliu is a 5-star Ice Element user belonging to the Destruction Path.
Described as "one of the legendary heroes making up the High-Cloud Quintet, and bestowed with the title “Transcendent Flash.” Having ascended beyond mortal concepts of victory, she chose to walk a different path to obtain the power capable of slaying gods. Thereafter, one Sword Champion of the Luofu was removed from the Xianzhou’s records, and one traitor erased from the annuals was added."
Topaz and Numby
Topaz is a 5-Star Fire element user belonging to the Hunt Path.
Topaz and his trusty companion Numby are described as "Topaz, Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department in the Interastral Peace Corporation, and leader of the Special Debts Picket Team. Already a member of the “Ten Stonehearts” at a young age, Topaz’s core stone is the “topaz of debt retrieval.”
Her partner, the Warp Trotter “Numby,” is also capable of acutely perceiving where “riches” are located. It can even perform jobs involving security, debt collection, and actuarial sciences."
Guinafen
Guinafen is the new 4-Star Fire element user belonging to the Nihility Path.
Guinafen is "An outworlder who ended up residing in the Xianzhou by accident. She is now a passionate and vivacious street performer."
"With her real name being Guinevere, Guinaifen is the Xianzhou name given to her by her good friend Sushang."
"Faced with a whole new life on the Loufu and relying on her adoration of Xianzhou culture, Guinaifen quickly learned skills that would keep her clothed and fed — these being eating noodles upside down, smashing large stones upon the chest of others, and catching projectiles with her bare hands, et cetera."
Honkai Star Rail 1.4 Banners
As per the current leaks, we will get Jingliu's banner in the first half of the Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update, with Topaz's banner arriving in the second half.
