After rounds of intense matches, Wolves have been crowned winners of this year's COD Mobile World Championship. Come with us and we'll show you how this team made it to the very top of COD Mobile esports.
In 2023, the COD Mobile World Championship provided incredible esports action with 16 of the best teams in the world competing for the coveted crown of World Champion. It was ultimately Wolves who earned it and won a share of the massive USD $1 million prize pool.
Claiming this honor was the cherry on top of what has already been a successful and incredibly impressive 2023 for Wolves. Earlier this year, the Chinese team came first in Season 5 of the China Masters Championship, Season 3 of the Snapdragon Pro Series China, and the COD Mobile Fall Invitational.
Wolves' journey to success in this year's World Championship was full of ups and downs and the road was a challenging one. Here's a look at how they won the biggest COD Mobile esports competition in the world.
How Wolves Rose to Glory In The Call Of Duty Mobile World Championship
The first stage of the COD Mobile World Championship saw a Swiss-style best-of-three format that required all 16 teams to earn three wins to qualify for the Quarter-Finals.
Wolves were first paired against KingsClan — a team that had a dominant performance throughout the qualifying stages of the Snapdragon Pro Series EU & MENA competition. Wolves made quick work of KingsClan with a clean 2-0 victory.

In Round 2, Wolves faced Kagendra. The Indonesian team had beaten one of the competition's fiercest participants, India's GodLike, in the previous round to much amazement. This pairing was certainly one to watch and the action was phenomenal. Wolves overcame Kagendra by earning a convincing 2-0 victory that saw the Chinese team score two consecutive wins.
For the third round, Wolves were matched with fellow compatriots, Qing Jiu Club, who are still fresh off securing first place in Season 6 of the China Masters Championship. It was Qing Jiu Club who drew first blood by claiming the first match point.
But Wolves were thirsty for glory and turned it around in an incredibly tight Search and Destroy game to level the score to 1-1.

After this comeback, the momentum was with Wolves and they cruised to a 2-1 victory over Qing Jiu Club. With this victory, Wolves earned a crucial third victory needed to advance to the Quarter-Finals of the COD Mobile World Championship 2023 where they faced Tribe Gaming.
Tribe was one of the last teams to qualify for the Quarter-finals after escaping difficult competition in the final Swiss round. They put on a valiant effort but were still defeated by a strong-showing Wolves who clean-swept Tribe Gaming 3-0.

This victory saw Wolves make it to the Semi-Finals where they faced Qing Jiu Club yet again. Needless to say, Qing Jiu Club were desperate to redeem themselves after their Round 3 defeat to Wolves the day before.
The competition was fierce and this produced one of the tightest matches this year's competition had ever seen. Wolves ultimately claimed victory in the Semi-Final matchup with Wolves' XQing securing the final kill in a close TDM game.

Wolves won 3-0 and earned themselves bragging rights as the best COD Mobile team in China... for now.
It came down to the Grand Final to decide this year's World Championship winner. The team standing in Wolves' way was GodLike, a team who had vanquished Stand Point Gaming and Luminosity Gaming in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals respectively.
The Grand Finals did not disappoint as both teams went tit-for-tat throughout the best-of-seven matchup until it was level at 2-2. From there, Wolves mustered the strength to power through to two consecutive match points until they won the match. The Grand Finals ended 4-2 in favor of Wolves.
