Season 14 - Robot Factory - is just around the corner in Brawl Stars! Supercell has revealed Sam and Gus as the two new Brawlers as well as eight new skins that will both be gradually released throughout the season. However, something that has quietly snuck under everyone's radar is a set of recent balance changes and updates that could shake up the current Brawl Stars meta. This comes courtesy of Brawl Stars content creator, Coach Cory.

So, what sort of changes are we looking at? As always, it's buffs, nerfs, and adjustments. The only difference this time is that Brawlers aren't the only thing affected - this time, Gears will be too! Let's go over everything in the August 2022 Brawl Stars balance changes.

Brawl Stars August Balance Changes - Brawler Buffs

Five Brawlers will be receiving a buff in the August update: Buzz, Jacky, Meg, Nita, and Poco. These largely affect their health, attack damage, and Supers.

Here's a full breakdown of the Brawlers receiving a buff in the August balance changes:

Buzz	Health increased from 4,200 → 4,400
Jacky	Attack damage increased from 1,160 → 1,240
Meg	Hits to charge Super decreased from 8 → 7
Nita	Attack damage increased from 880 → 960 Hits to charge Super decreased from 6 → 5
Poco	Attack damage increased from 700 → 800

Five Brawlers will be receiving a nerf in the August update: Bonnie, Carl, Crow, Janet, and Penny. These mostly affect their health, Gadgets, and Super.

Here's a full breakdown of the Brawlers receiving a nerf in the August balance changes:

Penny	Health decreased from 3,800 → 3,600

Brawl Stars August Balance Changes - Brawler Adjustment

Lola will be the only Brawler to receive an adjustment in the August balance changes. These will dramatically affect both her Gadgets.

Supercell has finally listened to the Brawl Stars community's concerns regardingGears. In the August update, Gear abilities will stay the same, however, their cost will be drastically reduced.

These are the price changes that will affect Gears in the August update:

Token Power	Changes
Power 1 Gear	Now costs 1 Gear Token + 40 Scrap (previous 1 Gear Token + 80 Scrap)
Power 2 Gears	Now costs 1 Gear Token + 100 Scrap (previously 2 Gear Tokens + 200 Scrap)
Power 3 Gears	Now costs 2 Gear Tokens + 200 Scrap (previously 4 Gear Tokens + 400 Scrap)
