Zeta Division One is the champions of season one of the Brawl Stars Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Asia-Pacific! Here's a rundown of all the events that lead to their victory!

Four of the best Brawl Stars teams in the Asia-Pacific Region made their way down to the Kuala Lumpur Battle Arena in Malaysia to decide who would be the first-ever winner of the Brawl Stars Snapdragon Mobile Challenge in Asia-Pacific. After six matches, we finally know the answer - Zeta Division One is your inaugural champion!

Let's take a look at Zeta Division One's progress throughout these matches and how they claimed their victory!

Six best-of-five matches were played. Teams start in the upper bracket. If defeated, they enter the lower bracket where round one and the final for that respective bracket will see a team eliminated from the competition. The goal of every team is to survive their matchups to make it to the grand final!

Upper Bracket Round One

Kicking us off was Zeta Division One against Blood Diamond. Zeta Division One is arguably the best Brawl Stars team in Asia-Pacific. They almost made light work of Blood Diamond as they cruised to an early 2-0 game advantage. However, Blood Diamond pulled it back to 2-2 and that resulted in the match heading to its final tie-breaking set.

Zeta Division One won the final set to win round one of the upper brackets with a score of 3-2! Blood Diamond was unfortunately knocked down to the lower bracket, while Zeta Division One advanced to the upper bracket finals.

Upper Bracket Round Two

In the second and final round of the upper bracket matchups, Rising Sun Esports took on Zeta Division Zero. When the competition began, Rising Sun Esports was considered one of the underdogs. They surprised many with their skills and advancement through the group stages.

However, Zeta Division Zero proved too strong and claimed a sweeping win of 3-0 over Rising Sun Esports to advance to the upper bracket finals against Zeta Division One.

Rising Sun Esports move down to the lower bracket.

Upper Bracket Finals

Zeta Division One went head-to-head against their sibling team Zeta Division Zero in the upper bracket finals. Despite their identical background and coaches, Zeta Division One absolutely demolished Zeta Division Zero 3-0 to advance to the grand final.

Zeta Division Zero moved to the lower bracket final for a second chance at heading to the grand finale.

Lower Bracket Round One

Blood Diamond faced Rising Sun Esports in the first elimination bracket. Nerves were on edge and despite Rising Sun Esports putting up a valiant fight, Blood Diamond defeated them 3-1 to advance to the lower bracket finals against Zeta Division Zero.

Rising Sun Esports are the first team to be eliminated from the competition. They claim fourth in the overall competition standings.

Lower Bracket Finals

Zeta Division Zero took on Blood Diamond in the lower bracket finals. Zeta Division Zero was the favorite to win against Blood Diamond. They fulfilled those expectations by winning 3-1.

Zeta Division Zero now advanced to the grand finals to face Zeta Division One for a second time.

Blood Diamond was officially eliminated from the competition. They claim third place in the overall competition standings.

Grand Final

This was the clash of titans - Zeta Division One versus Zeta Division Zero! Many expected the game to be tight and for Zeta Division Zero to plan some revenge for their earlier 3-0 humiliation. However, Zeta Division One brought their A-game and destroyed Zeta Division Zero to win the match with another 3-0 score!

Zeta Division One read Zeta Division Zero like a book and countered each and every one of their picks and moves. It came down to the Knockout game mode where an out-of-this-world play by Zeta Division One's MOYAGOQU saw them eliminate his opponents in a tight 2v1!

The grand final was arguably the shortest set of games played in the competition ever. It was such a dominant performance that was felt by everyone in the crowd. Congratulations, Zeta Division One for winning the competition and the sweet cash prize of $16,000!

Zeta Division One and Zeta Division Zero will now advance as the first two of six teams that will advance to Brawl Stars Snapdragon Pro Series Season One Masters that will start on March 2023! We now wait for the other teams from the North America and EU-MENA region to be decided.
