From there, it was smooth sailing as Aphelion defeated 50 Shades of Hog 12-10 stars and proceeded to the Upper Bracket Final.
In this stage of the tournament, they faced United Gaming, who had earlier emerged victorious over Empire Gaming in a nail-biting second Semi-Final match.
Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be for Aphelion as they were defeated by Empire with a perfect 15-11 Stars scoreline.

With this knockout, Aphelion Esports were sent down to the Lower Bracket Final to face 50 Shades of Hog again.
Despite falling to an early 3-star victory from 50 Shades of Hog, Aphelion pulled through with amazing back-to-back 3-star victories.

These gave Aphelion the momentum to edge out 50 Shades of Hog in a tight 13-12 star victory. They now have successfully booked their spot in the Grand Finals.
The only thing standing in their way of the coveted title was the very team who had defeated them earlier - United Gaming.
This time around, Aphelion came out swinging with players like Dobbs, Paevu, and BJG all snatching crucial 3-star victories.
