The Jackal fighter jet "returns" to Call of Duty: Mobile with the devs teasing its imminent arrival.
It is all but confirmed - the Jackal fighter jet is set to make its debut in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6.
The Jackal is a player-controlled fighter jet that was first seen in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare featuring an assortment of high-powered weapons it was a fan favorite even despite that game's poor reception.
The Jackal has already made an appearance (of sorts) in COD: Mobile with it seemingly added by accident in the Season 5 update and later removed with some content creators posting videos of it randomly appearing as a bug.
But now there is yet more evidence that the Jackal is about to make his COD: Mobile debut, with a teaser being released by the devs that appear to confirm all of the previous rumors.
COD: Mobile Devs Tease Arrival Of Jackall To The Battle Royale
Confirmation of Jackal's arrival came via a teaser put out by the COD: Mobile devs on the official Twitter account.
A solitary picture teasing "updates coming to #CODMobile Battle Royale" clearly showed the top of the Jackal with a familiar airstrip in the background.

News of the Jackal's arrival has been long suspected. Files relating to the fighter jet have been discovered (and even custom skins), and that, coupled with recent beta tests and the aforementioned POI has convinced many that it was only a matter of time.
The fact they are teasing this now, just over a week before the launch of Season 6, suggests it is likely to arrive in the game with the next big update.
With Season 6 expected to launch on Friday, July 1, it won't be long until players can take to the sky and reign down a barrage of destruction.
Where Will The Jackal Spawn?
The Jackal is rumored to be spawning at the airstrip which can be found north of the Harbor which itself is found in the northwest of the map.
The airstrip currently has only a bunker, a watch tower, and some ground vehicle spawns but also boasts an airstrip that slants upwards at the end to send jets soaring into the sky. The bunker here also looks very much like that shown in the teaser image.
The Jackal is only thought to be coming to the Isolated map, with its large size being the only one fitting for a fast high-altitude fighter jet.
