Season 6 (2024): Synthwave Showdown is out and comes with several weapon balance changes that mix up the Call of Duty: Mobile meta. Thankfully, you can check out the best guns here.
Season 6 (2024): Synthwave Showdown, the latest major update coming to Call of Duty: Mobile, is now available to download and play. The new season has introduced a brand new weapon, the BP50, a new BR Class, Revive, new themed event, Mythic Draws, seasonal challenges, a brand new map called Collateral Strike and much more.
Apart from that, we also have many weapons that were balanced this season, shifting the COD: Mobile meta.
All these changes can make deciding which is the best gun in COD: Mobile difficult, but thankfully, help is at hand, as below we detail the best weapon in each of COD: Mobile's nine weapon categories, taking into account all of the recent buffs and nerfs.
So, without any further ado, let us check out the best guns in COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024).
Best Weapons In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
There are nine categories of weapons in COD Mobile, they are:
- Secondaries (pistols, melees, rocket launchers)
- Shotguns
- Submachine guns (SMGs)
- Assault rifles (ARs)
- Light machine guns (LMGs)
- Marksman rifles
- Sniper rifles
Below, we look at each category and decide the best in each - giving you a great idea of what guns to specialize in and which are best left on the ground.
Many of the guns listed below will be great out the gate, but others may perform best when specific attachments are available to you.
You will need to level up the guns to access all the attachments. Check out our guide on leveling up weapons fast in COD: Mobile to speed up this process.
Best Secondary In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
When it comes to secondaries - in our opinion - it's best to go with a pistol. While melees are fun and, yes, deadly, they obviously need you to get down your opponent's throat, while a pistol can get you out a pinch at close to medium range.
With that said, there are several options here, including the L-CAR 9 and .50GS, but we feel the best of the bunch is the MW11.
It got a significant buff back in Season 9 that made it frankly ridiculous, and while it has seen its power reduced somewhat, it is still a fast-firing, high-impact pistol that can be fitted out with an extensive range of attachments.
Heading into Season 6 (2024), it is still the secondary we will be running with.
Honorable mentions: L-CAR 9, .50GS, Katana.
Best Shotgun In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
In terms of shotguns, it's the R9-0 that has been dominating the meta, and that doesn't look like changing in Season 7. Offering a mix between a semi-auto and pump-action shotgun, the R9-0 can fire more than one shot before it has to be rechambered.
This quick firing mechanism makes it deadly; if you don't land a perfect first shot, you can quickly back it up with a more dialed-in second.
Its high round magazine and myriad attachments make it versatile in a way few other shotguns can compete, with the KRM-262, which is very similar to the R9-0, the only true competitor in the COD: Mobile Season 9 meta.
Honorable mentions: KRM-262, BY-15, HS0405.
Best SMG In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
Let's get it out of the way; the best submachine gun in Season 9 is still the CBR4 - despite the myriad changes it has seen over the past year.
Despite these changes, which have encompassed nerfs but alsobuffs, the CBR4 is still an absolute 'melter' of a gun. Fast-firing, low-recoil, and capable of engaging opponents at up to medium range, and you have the perfect SMG.
There are plenty of other options in this class - we love the PPSh-41 - but if you want the 'best,' it's the CBR4.
Honorable mentions: PPSh-41, MAC-10.
Best AR In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
This season, the new AR, Type 19, stands tall among other ARs in the game as it not only performs great on all ranges but also outperforms several other great ARs.
Apart from that, the M13 is still the best assault rifle in COD: Mobile. Very easy to use, with a vast range of attachments, this American-made AR is a jack-of-all-trades and a master of some too.
Honorable mentions: FFAR 1,AK117, Peacekeeper MK2, Kilo 141.
Apart from the above, we also want to mention that the newly added Grau 5.56 is shaping up to be a great assault rifle. In our early impressions, it is on part with some of the best ARs currently available in the game.
That said, for mid and close range, the Grau 5.56 is better than Peacekeeper MK2 and M13.
Best LMG In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
Regarding the light machine gun class, it is hard to look past the Holger 26.
Buffed in Season 9, the Hades saw its damage output, effective range, and bullet spread improve. At its base level, it also sports a huge 100-round LMG, making it an absolute monster in the right hands.
With few changes to other LMGs heading into Season 6 (2024), we expect the Holger 26 to continue as the LMG of choice.
Honorable mentions: Bruen MK9,Hades, Chopper, S36.
Best Marksman Rifle In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
No real changes to the marksman class heading into Season 6 (2024), which means the SKS continues to dominate this class.
The SKS has long been a popular weapon in Call of Duty, and in COD: Mobile, it is no different.
This marksman rifle is capable of one-shot kills when hitting headshots and two-shots when hitting the upper body, so if you like to keep your opponents at arm's length, there are few better options.
Honorable mentions: SVD.
Best Sniper Rifle In COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024)
Has there been a gun in COD: Mobile as dominant across a more extended period than the DL Q33 sniper rifle? The CBR 4 may take issue with that, and the other notable sniper rifle, the ZRG 20mm, did arrive with a bang, but neither of them has had quite the longevity of the DL Q33 - a favorite of casuals and pros alike.
One of few guns in the game that can one-shot opponents, the DL Q33 is the sniper's sniper. Deadly accurate and with a relatively high fire rate, there are few equals if you can consistently land your shots.
The DL Q33 did see its new signature attachment nerfed during previous seasons; however, this only affects the gun's performance in the battle royale. Not a big enough change to see it dislodged from the top of the sniper rifle tier list.
Honorable mentions: ZRG 20mm, XPR-50.
