The Krig 6 assault rifle is coming to the Chinese localization of Call of Duty: Mobile, meaning its arrival in the global version is likely imminent.
Call of Duty: Mobile is set to get a brand new assault rifle, and it looks like it could be one of the best in the game.
The news comes courtesy of LeakersOnDuty, a group of reputable COD: Mobile data miners and leakers who have discovered that the Krig 6 assault rifle is set to debut in the Chinese localization of the game.

It will likely arrive with the release of Season 9, alongside an accompanying Mythic weapon blueprint.
Promotional material for the Chinese localization hinted at a blueprint themed around "a blue creature," which LeakersOnDuty suggests will be the Ice Drake blueprint released as part of the NecroKing bundle in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
The Krig 6 doesn't have a long history in COD, first appearing in Black Ops Cold War. It has impressive accuracy for an assault rifle and boasts better-than-average damage, and based on the trailer released for the COD: Mobile version of the gun, those qualities remain.

Season 9 is expected to be out around mid-October, but there is no official release date. Other rumored additions include the classic Zombies game mode, which the developers finally confirmed would return in October.
