Ever since Fortnite has been around, the only way to ever play the game is through the classic third-person POV. However, the game has undergone quite a massive amount of changes and now there's a way that players can experience first-person mode.

Needless to say, it's a welcome addition to Fortnite as many players in the community have been asking for it for a long time. Now that it's here and alive, we've been given a new perspective on the gameplay experience and essentially how to play the game.

Here's how you can play Fortnite in first-person mode.

There's a clever workaround available if you want to play in first-person mode in Fortnite. Please note that this method is exclusive to players who own the paid 'Save The World' mode.

  • Upgrade your gameplay experience in Fortnite with a good mobile game controller that will give you an edge over your enemies.

Follow these steps if you want to play first-person mode in Fortnite:

  1. Log into Fortnite and access the main lobby.
  2. Go to the 'Battle Royale' tab.
  3. Select the 'Save the World' tab.
  4. Click on the 'Options' button.
  5. Go to 'Settings'.
  6. Choose the 'Game' tab.
  7. Under the Extra Game option, toggle the first-person camera and click 'Apply'.
  8. Leave 'Save the World' mode.
  9. Enter Battle Royale to begin playing in first-person.

By following these steps, you'll activate the first-person view in Fortnite and be given a brand new way of looking at things.
