Fortnite Pod Plants: All Locations & Flower Types

We'll explain what Pod Plants are in Fortnite and the locations where you can find them during Chapter 4 Season 3.

Introduced in Chapter 4 Season 3, Pod Plants is a new type of item in Fortnite that's capable of many things. You can use them to your advantage, be it for dealing damage to enemies or getting a quick heal.

Pod Plants may be small, but they are mighty. To help you understand these tricky plants, we've compiled a guide going over everything you need to know about them in Fortnite.

All Pod Plant Types In Fortnite

There are three types of Pod Plants In Fortnite. Each one of them comes with their own unique effect.

  • Bomb Flower (Purple): Creates an explosion that deals massive damage.
  • Stink Flower (Yellow): Unleashes a toxic gas that deals damage over time.
  • Slurp Plants (Blue): Sprays a blue substance that heals you for a small amount.

You can trigger the Pod Plant's effect by shooting or hitting them with a melee weapon.

Keeping in line with the forest theme of Chapter 4 Season 3, most of the Pod Plants can be found in the new jungle biome located in the middle and north of the map.

You can find a majority of Pod Plants scattered around these locations:

  • Creeky Compound
  • Rumble Ruins
  • Shady Stilts

You may also encounter Hop Flowers at these locations. They're excellent for mobility as you can bounce around the jungle using them and not take any fall damage.
