An exciting collaboration that has been rumored to be in the works for some time now is one between Fortnite and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (better known as TMNT). The martial arts reptiles are speculated to be leaving their home of New York City and will land on the notorious grounds of battle royale.

Though details are still shrouded in mystery, several hints and leaks revealed in the past seem to indicate that one is indeed in the works and on its way for players to enjoy.

If you are interested in learning more about this crossover, then we have got you covered. In this article, we will thoroughly explore all the information available regarding the prospective Fortnite and TMNT collaboration.

Keen-eyed individuals have uncovered some intriguing evidence that suggests that a collaboration between the ninja turtles and Epic's popular battle royale game might indeed be in the works.

Fortnite leaker, leaksxdefiant, has diligently gathered this evidence and shared it in a series of tweets. We will dissect the findings below.

Our initial clue comes in the form of a file code name linked to an as-yet-unreleased skin. This code name is 'FungusNinja,' and while it might appear innocuous at first glance, it can easily be interpreted as 'MutantNinja.'

This deciphering is based on the fact that the code name for the Anakin Skywalker skin was 'PlotTwist,' a clear reference to the iconic plot twist in The Empire Strikes Back movie.

Another significant piece of information relates to the file's size - it is only 7 megabytes. According to the leaker, this size suggests that it may encompass one skin with multiple variants.

This, in turn, hints at the possibility of playing as all four Ninja Turtles characters - namely Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo - within a single skin. It's unclear if other iconic characters such as Master Splinter will be coming as part of the collab.

On another note, TMNT has previously collaborated with Fall Guys, a studio owned by Epic Games. This prior collaboration suggests that the transition of such a crossover into Fortnite would be a relatively straightforward process.

Our final noteworthy piece of evidence was also uncovered within the current Fortnite files. An upcoming 'Ninja Training' perk has been identified, along with the return of a consumable pizza item for this season.

It's worth noting that Fortnite typically introduces items related to upcoming skins, as demonstrated by the Terminator skin in Chapter 4 Season 3.

Despite much anticipation, Epic Games has not issued an official statement regarding a release date for the potential collaboration between Fortnite and TMNT.

However, considering the evidence at hand, it's reasonable to speculate that such a collaboration could occur shortly. Yet, it remains uncertain whether this collaboration will be unveiled during Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 or during a later season.
