Season 4: Aspire is on the way, with Horizon and Olympus joining Apex Legends Mobile before the game's shutdown.

Season 4 of Apex Legends Mobile will launch on February 15; the last seasonal update before the game is shut down on May 1.
The update includes offensive legend Horizon and the long-awaited Olympus battle royale map, a tournament mode, a new battle pass, and a signature weapon for Octane, the Afterburner.
Season 4: Aspire's release is just a small piece of good news for a community still in shock after the announcement the game was to be 'sunset' by Respawn Entertainment, who said the quality and cadence of updates had been unsatisfactory since the game's launch less than a year ago, forcing them to shut it down.

In the patch notes for the season, the developers confirmed that game's premium currency, Syndicate Gold, would remain barred from purchase, and it's not yet clear if the new battle pass and premium cosmetics available throughout the season will essentially be free or open only to those that had purchased before and who have been told not to expect a refund.
The developers have promised that events will be held throughout the season that "yield multiple ways to engage with content," but don't go as far as to say it's a free for all.

This update will prove a bittersweet moment for many in the community, as it features many of the additions and changes they had been calling for since the game's launch.
That includes a tournament mode which would give players a reason to play after the initial content drop of a new season.
Players were also desperate for the Olympus map, considered an upgrade over the almost universally disliked Kings Canyon.
In fact, news of Season 4's release has prompted a social media campaign from prominent influencers intending to get Respawn Entertainment to reverse their decision. Throwing their name behind the campaign are 'ImOw' and 'RoastSmith' of Luminosity.
