This current beta is only available on Android devices; an iOS test is expected in the future.
The open beta includes four game modes, including Battlefield favorites Conquest and Rush, as well as maps from Battlefield 3, such as Noshahr Canals and Grand Bazaar.
The game also features classes seen in Battlefields of old, with players able to choose between Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon.
The game is free-to-play, with monetization focused on cosmetic items which the developers state will "not impact or affect gameplay or player performance."
Players who make purchases during the open beta will have them refunded into Battlefield Coins, with 25% extra, at the game's global launch. All player progress will also be reset.
