Version 3.0 is nearly upon us in Genshin Impact! As expected, miHoYo has decided to skip over a 2.9 after the v2.8 update, Summer Fantasia, was released in mid-July 2022. Don't treat this update as any other one though because v3.0 will be massive! It moves onto a new update number - a rare event that only occurs once every year. That means that future updates will be based on whatever content, storyline, and characters that miHoYo has decided to introduce to Genshin Impact in this new update.

As first reported by GameRant, leaks suggest that the file size for the v3.0 update is huge and could potentially weigh in at a whopping 43.3 GB - and that's without the voice pack included! So what can you expect in such a large update? Let's take a look at every one of them:
