You can get free Lives in Royal Match by either requesting Lives from your team or waiting until they are replenished.

Teams are extremely useful not only just for communication but also for getting free Lives. To be able to join one, you must first beat Level 20. From there, you can join any team and request free Lives from your teammates. Bear in mind that you will not be able to ask for Lives if you currently have more than 10 free Lives.

Besides this, you can wait for your Lives to be restored. One life is replenished every 30 minutes. So, you'll have to wait at least two and a half hours if you want to restore all of your free 5 Lives.

If you are in dire need of Lives and cannot wait, you can also purchase Lives with Coins from the in-game store.
