February marks the third month in Season 9 of Pokémon GO: Mythical Wishes. Despite the month being shorter, Niantic will be continuing its explosive start to the year with a content-packed update that will be enough to put a smile on any player.

Let's go over everything you need to know about the February 2023 update.

Pokémon GO February Update - Five-Star Raids

Four Five-Star Raids will be available in Pokémon GO this month. They will start and end at 10 am local time on the dates mentioned below.

These are February's Five-Star Raids:

  • February 1 - 8: Registeel (that knows Zap Cannon)
  • February 8 - 15: Tapu Lele
  • February 15 - 22: Regirock
  • February 22 - March 1: Rayquaza

Pokémon GO February Update - Mega Raids

Four Mega Raids will be available in Pokémon GO this month. They will start and end at 10 am local time on the dates mentioned below.

These are February's Mega-Star Raids:

  • February 1 - 8: Mega Gengar
  • February 8 -15: Mega Gardevoir
  • February 15 -22: Mega Pidgeot
  • February 22 - March 1: Mega Latias and Mega Latios

Pokémon GO February Update - Raid Hours

Four weekly raid hours will be held this month in Pokémon GO. As usual, these will be held between 6 - 7 pm local time.

These are the Raid Hour days and the Pokémon you can get:

  • February 1: Registeel
  • February 8: Tapu Lele
  • February 15: Regirock
  • February 22: Rayquaza

Pokémon GO February Update - Spotlight Hours

Four weekly Spotlight Hours will be held in February. As usual, these will be between 6 - 7 pm local time.

These are the Spotlight Hour days and the Pokémon you can get:

  • February 7: Pidgey (2x XP for evolving Pokémon)
  • February 14: Woobat (2x Stardust for catching Pokémon)
  • February 21: Jigglypuff (2x XP for catching Pokémon)
  • February 28: Slakoth (2x Candy for catching Pokémon)

Pokémon GO February Update - Events

Despite it being a shorter month than what we're used to, February will have several big events.

Here's a look at all of this month's events:

  • February 1 - 5: Crackling Voltage event + Team GO Rocket Takeover
  • February 5: February Community Day
  • February 8 - 14: Valentine's Day Event
  • February 11: Luvdisc Limited Research
  • February 12: GO Battle Day: Vulpix
  • February 22 - 24: Primal Rumblings
  • February 25 - 26: Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn - Global

During the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn - Global, Deoxys (Normal Forme), Deoxys (Attack Forme), Deoxys (Defense Forme), and Deoxys (Speed Forme) will be available in the Five-Star Raids. Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will be available in the Primal Raids (in place of Mega Raids).

There will also be a live event, Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn - Las Vegas, between February 18 - 19.
