Two new trailers for Pokémon Sleep have dropped, giving us the first proper look at this sleep analyzer.
You'll soon be able to snuggle up with your favorite pokémon thanks to Pokémon Sleep, the latest mobile app from The Pokémon Company.
We first learned of Pokémon Sleep in 2019 but thanks to the most recent Pokémon Presents, we finally got our first proper look at the sleep analyzer due out later this year.
It should be said Pokémon Sleep isn't really a game, though it will give you opportunities to interact with the franchise's many 'mons. It's essentially a mobile app that analyzes your sleep, categorizing it into one of three types: dozing, snoozing, and slumbering.
The app will track how long you've slept, what type of sleep you've had, and even help you nod off with relaxing music or wake you up with an alarm.
Depending on the type of sleep you've had, certain pokémon will be by your side as you wake.
You can get a better idea of how it works in this video:
Alongside Pokémon Sleep, a new device was also revealed, the Pokémon Go Plus Plus, an upgraded version of the companion device for Pokémon Go.
The Pokémon Go Plus Plus can be used with both Pokémon Go and Sleep. When used with Sleep, it will pair with your smartphone; when you are off to sleep, you press the button to start tracking, and again once you wake.
The device also carries the sound of Pikachu, who can sing lullabies to help you sleep and wake you up with alarms.
In Pokémon Go, the device can be used to throw pokéballs without taking out your smartphone.
There is no official release date for Pokémon Sleep, though we can expect it at some point this year on iOS and Android devices.
