Supercell has revealed the date of the second closed beta test for its upcoming mobile game, Squad Busters.
It's been a hot minute since we last heard any news from Supercell's upcoming squad-building action mobile game, Squad Busters.
The game held its first closed beta test in February for players exclusively in Canada. Now, the devs have announced that a second closed beta test will be held between May 22 - 29 for Android players in Canada, Mexico, and Spain.
To pre-register for this closed beta test, simply visit the Squad Busters website. The devs stated that your mobile device's OS will need to be Android 12 or higher to support the game.
Despite this being only the second beta test, the devs have implemented a significant amount of improvements to the game. This includes adding mods that are randomly picked at the start of every round. These mods, such as Pinata Party or Royal Haunt, add extra rules to the match.
The next closed beta test will treat us to a new map (or World) called 'The Royal World'. There will be new monsters and six new characters.
Speaking of characters, picking three of the same characters during a match will merge them all into one powerful character with increased stats and abilities.
This means you can now build larger Squads faster, hold Turbo to boost its power, and defend it by throwing spells at other players.
Besides this, you will be able to collect Hammers that you can use to customize your Plaza and unlock characters by completing Quests.
Squad Busters is still in early development, so we're still some time away from a global release.
However, as the title suggests, it promises to be a game all about building a strong squad with characters from your favorite Supercell games. You'll need to make it to the end of the match while collecting as many Gems as you can.
