After the huge success of COD: Mobile, Warzone Mobile is set to be the next evolutionary step for the Call of Duty franchise on handheld devices.

With such a major step forward planned, the player base has raised the bar for their expectations of the game's graphics and gameplay. Needless to say, it's a bar that Activision aims to meet.

However, it won't be easy as the mobile gaming scene is always growing and expanding thanks to the constant upgrades to mobile hardware and software.

But as technology advances, there are still benchmarks that your device needs to meet if you want to play the game. Here's a look at Warzone Mobile's system requirements.

The minimum specs required will vary depending on which operating system (OS), be it Android or iOS, your device employs. We have listed them in detail below, as listed on the official Warzone Mobile FAQ page.

The iOS system requirements for Warzone Mobile are:

  • iPhone: Requires iOS 16.0 or higher
  • iPad: Requires iPadOS 16.0 or higher
  • RAM: 3 GB or higher (excluding iPhone 8)

The Android system requirements for Warzone Mobile are:

  • Requires Android 10 or higher
  • RAM: 4 GB or higher
  • Adreno 618 or higher

In an interview with MobileMatters, Activision stated that graphics optimization is a "huge focus" for the development team, and this has resulted in new technologies having been developed for the game such as what they call 'Streaming'.

SVP and Co-Head of Mobile at Activision, Chris Plummer, described this with the following:

When you're playing a game right now, it's streaming the higher fidelity visuals in real-time. When you first boot Warzone Mobile up, it looks good. But when you play a match or two, it looks better. If you play several matches, you're starting to get the best visual fidelity you can get on a mobile device.

This may answer certain questions players have when they encounter less-than-ideal graphics when hopping onto Warzone Mobile.

Besides these impressive graphics features, Warzone Mobile promises to have shared progression with Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone, large 120-player lobbies, and various multiplayer game modes.
