Faruzan and Scaramouche have been revealed as the first two characters that will join Genshin Impact in the version 3.3 update.
Fresh off the release of version 3.2 in Genshin Impact, HoYoverse is already looking to the future. They have released teasers for two new characters that will join the game in the next version update: Faruzan and Scaramouche. It's the return of one new character and the arrival of a new one.
It is still unclear if more will join them, but we'll have to wait and see. Version 3.3 is expected to be released on December 7, so we'll have plenty of time between now and then for more information to be released. Till then, let's look at what we know so far about the upcoming characters.
Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Characters - Faruzan
Faruzan is an Anemo-Element character. Known as the 'Enigmatic Machinist', this name comes from a legend among Kshahrewar students who come to Faruzan for tips about their mechanics exams. Her simple explanations and "insightful, in-depth knowledge" leads many to believe she is a walking encyclopedia. Faruzan likes sincerity, manners, and humility.
So that being said, there are two things you must not ask about: her youthful appearance and why, despite her brilliance, Faruzan continues to live in Haravatat and not join the rest of Kshahrewar. If you do ask, you must bear the terrible consequences that have resulted in her becoming a Haravatat household name.
Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Characters - Scaramouche
After two long years, Scaramouche will return to Genshin Impact in the version 3.3 update - this time swapping red for a blue appearance. He is an Anemo-Element character who is sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Scaramouche first appeared in the game as the main antagonist of the Unreconciled Stars event and makes several appearances after this in Archon Quests.
His contribution to Genshin Impact has been limited to date, so it's interesting to finally see him make his presence felt once more. Scaramouche will be using his classic air of mystery and anger-fueled hate to strike fear into his enemies.
