The Genshin Impact 3.7 update is finally here, and with that, we have a multitude of new content additions in the form of a new four-star playable character Kirara, new quests, events, re-runs for weapons and characters, and much more.

Among the new additions, we have the limited-time Evermotion Mechanical Painting Invoker event, where players are tasked to solve gear-related puzzles to unveil the contents of paintings hidden behind curtains.

Solving the gear puzzle is a daunting task, as you must place certain-sized gears in the correct order while doing surface swaps to make sure all of them are moving.

To make things easier, we are here with the solution to the Mondstadt I and II gear puzzle, so keep reading.

Go to the event location and interact with the first painting. After that, follow the below instructions to solve the gear puzzle.

  1. Swap 'Surface I' with 'Surface II' using the 'Swap Surfaces' option. [You must swap the two surfaces on the top]
  2. After that, select 'Gear Column 1' and place 'Medium Gear.'
  3. Now, select 'Gear Column 4' and place 'Large Gear.'
  4. Lastly, select 'Gear Column 2' and place 'Medium Gear.'

Once that is done, you will be able to unveil the contents of the painting and complete the puzzle.

Similar to before, interact with the painting and follow the below instructions to solve the gear puzzle.

  1. Swap 'Surface I' with 'Surface II' using the 'Swap Surfaces' option. [You must swap the diagonal surfaces]
  2. After that, select 'Gear Column 2' and place 'Large Gear.'
  3. Now, select 'Gear Column 1' and place 'Medium Gear.'
  4. Lastly, select 'Gear Column 3' and place 'Large Gear.'

Now, click on the 'Unveil' button to reveal the painting and complete the puzzle.
