In this guide, we talk about how you can unlock the Girdle of the Sands sub-region within Sumeru in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact 3.6 update is finally out. With that, we have players hopping into the new update to check out the new sub-region, Girdle of the Sands, to complete the different quests and other activities to offer.
To make sure your adventure doesn't come to a halt, we are here with a handy guide on how to unlock the Girdle of the Sands region in Genshin Impact while talking about how you can access the new world quest related to the region.
How To Unlock Girdle Of The Sands Region In Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact, you can unlock the Girdle of the Sands sub-region by walking into it. Girdle of the Sands is not locked behind any quest, as we have seen with some other sub-regions like The Chasm, Enkonomiya, and others.
In fact, players can head to the teleport waypoints near Wounded Shin Valley or The Sands of Three Canals and walk into the Girdle of the Sands sub-region. On the other hand, to unlock the map of Girdle of the Sands, you must activate the two new Statue of Seven.
Don't worry, as none of them are locked behind game progression. So simply navigate to their location and activate them to access the Girdle of the Sands sub-region map.
How To Start Girdle Of The Sands Questline In Genshin Impact
If you want to start the new questline, The Splendorous Sky That Day, you can do that by heading to the first Gavireh Lajavard teleport waypoint and investigating the mysterious item found within the bushes.
Once you do that, you will be asked to talk to Katheryne in Sumeru City. From there, you can progress and complete the quest to solve the anomaly found in the Girdle of the Sands sub-region.
