Squad Busters is a multiplayer action game that's all about building the best squads possible to defeat other squads. Needless to say, to build a strong team and become one of the last ones standing at the end of the match, you're going to need some powerful characters.
Fortunately, Squad Busters has a wide roster of characters available. Each of them boasts different capabilities and stats that will play out differently depending on your squad composition.
You can take it a step further and improve each character's effectiveness by upgrading them to their unique 'Forms.' Forms are essentially different stages that your characters can evolve into. If you want to learn more about them, then we've got you covered.
All Character Evolution Forms In Squad Busters
There are currently four character evolution forms in Squad Busters. Namely, these are Baby, Classic, Super, and Ultra.
Each stage offers the character either a new special ability or an improvement to their current one. For example, the Witch's Baby form grants her the ability to summon Skeletons. Her Classic form enables her to summon more Skeletons. Finally, her Super form gives her a Spell.
Each evolution form can be symbolized by the number of stars shown above the character. In the table below, we will list what number of stars correspond to which evolution form.

It's also important to note that a character's appearance will be affected by their current evolution form. In the first form, they are small and baby-like. But in their final form, they are big and powerful.
How To Evolve A Character's Form
To evolve a character, you need to collect duplicate versions of that specific character and merge them.
After every match you play in Squad Busters, you will receive a Chest that is filled with characters. The better you perform in the match, the better Chest rarity you will receive. The rarities include Common, Rare, Epic, and Big Epic. You can earn higher rarity characters in the higher rarity Chests.
Every time you evolve a character, you will earn Portal Energy. These will help you progress through the various Worlds.
