Honkai Star Rail 1.2 'Even Immortality Ends' update is going to add two new locations; among them, one is the Scalegorge Waterscape, the Lunarescent Depths, which acts as the Vidyadharas' sacred site which suppresses the Ambrosial Arbor, by holding the Arbor's roots under a seal.
That said, with the arrival of a new area, we also get access to a ton of new activities, like finding and collecting Treasure Chests to obtain Stellar Jade, Credit, EXP materials, and other such things.

You can find a total of seventeen Treasure Chests in the Scalegorge Waterscape area of Honkai Star Rail. These chests are located from the start to the end part of the map. So, you may come across most of them while exploring the area.

At the time of writing, the Scalegorge Waterscape area is not yet available in the game. It will release with version 1.2 update that is slated to go live on July 19, 2023.

Honkai Star Rail Chest Rewards
You can get Stellar Jade, level-up materials, Cosmic Fragment, Credit, Data Bank, and other such rewards from the Treasure Chests found in the different maps of Honkai Star Rail.
Do Treasure Chests Respawn In Honkai Star Rail?
No! Treasure Chests do not respawn in Honkai Star Rail. So once you open a chest and collect its rewards, they won't respawn.
