A new Brawl Talk is on its way and it'll detail everything you can expect to see in the next Brawl Stars update. Here's what we know about it so far.
Brawl Stars is gearing up for yet another exciting update and, from what has been hinted at or revealed so far, it'll be a massive one. Supercell will be outlining all the new features and changes players can expect to see in another episode of Brawl Talk.
This Brawl Talk is expected to be released on April 20, 2024. The details mentioned will be included in an update that will be launched on May 2.
We've compiled all the details that have been revealed about it so far.
New Hypercharges Will Be Added To Brawl Stars
As usual, several new Hypercharges will be added to Brawl Stars in the coming update. It's been confirmed that Gene will receive one of these new abilities.
Other than that, five other Hypercharges will be introduced to the game. The brawlers they belong to are unknown at the moment.
Duels Will Be The Next Community Game Mode
In a community poll held earlier in April, players voted Duels as the mode they'd like to see appear in the next rotation of the community game mode.
DUELS took the win big time and will be the next community game mode! Duels - 72% Siege - 20% Basket Brawl - 8%Thanks everyone for voting! https://t.co/d88mpoTyF0 pic.twitter.com/hCcgccMbwj

It beat the likes of Siege and Basket Brawl.
New Features & Balance Changes Are Coming To Brawl Stars
Brawl Stars General Manager Frank made a post apologizing for not being active on X (formerly Twitter). He reasoned that he was "working (hard) towards the next update and much stuff going on at work at the moment."
It's rumored that a whole list of new skins will be coming to Brawl Stars such as Gene and Sandy's Supercell MAKE skins, virus/hacker skins, a novel skin for Mortis, and reworks to existing skins. It was confirmed that Frost Queen Amber will become a Legendary skin.
Besides this, Gameplay and Game Health Lead Adrian posted recently asking the community for suggestions about balance changes they'd like to see in the coming update. Though it's no surprise that Supercell releases a new set of balance changes every month, it's rare to see the developers openly asking players for input.
Hey everyone! Wrapping up the balance changes for the next update - what are some brawlers you wish to be included? #BrawlStars

Supercell has confirmed that Hypercharge Unleased events are no longer happening. However, to compensate, they will be making it "easier and faster" for players to earn them. For starters, all new players will get Shelly's Hypercharge when reaching 1,000 Trophies.
Supercell has also revealed that they aim to improve the social aspect within Brawl Stars. This could see improvements made in finding new friends and teaming up.
As we approach the Brawl Talk on April 20, we can expect Supercell to drop more hints and information about what we could see in the future.
