Library of Ruina is getting ready for its Spring 2024 Nintendo Switch and PlayStation platforms release, and with that, we have got a brand new gameplay footage on the game, which takes players through the world of Ruina.

The new gameplay footage showcases dialogue between main characters Roland and Angela and a sneak peek into the unique battle mechanics and deck building strategy featured in the game. This segment also features additional voice acting from enemy characters, to get a feel for the full Japanese voice cast.

Meanwhile, the previous gameplay footage “Visit” gives players a glimpse into the Library of Ruina’s opening prologue scene and features the highly anticipated Japanese voice-over dialogue.

"This new release of Library of Ruina comes fully voiced by a star-studded Japanese voice cast, including Ikumi Hasegawa as Angela, the library’s director and head librarian, and self-proclaimed “washed up” Fixer (handyman) Roland is brought to life by Shunsuke Takeuchi. Players can also find an in-game digital soundtrack and 600 page artbook originally found on the PC version, as well as developer commentary."

"Library of Ruina is the follow-up to Project Moon’s Lobotomy Corporation, taking place in the same world and setting. Players take the role of Roland, who would do any job requiring skills that the average person does not have. After his sudden appearance in the Library, Roland finds himself assisting the director Angela in her search for the “One Absolute Book.” To obtain this book, they must invite Guests to the library - Guests who meet their end during their reception are transformed into Books, guiding them to new Guests, and eventually the One Absolute Book."

"Players experience engaging gameplay mechanics and setting, from the captivating dialogue scenes to the strategic Battle Stage selection process, culminating in a thrilling battle (reception) where the roll of a dice holds the power to determine their fate."
