First announced in January of 2023, Squad Busters is the highly-anticipated title from Finland-based developers, Supercell. The mobile game will bring together familiar faces from other games in Supercell's catalog for exciting squad-building multiplayer games.

With a "unique PvP/ PvE experience" in store, you'll take your squad and defeat others and monsters to earn Gems. Earn Portal Energy to climb the multiple Worlds and unlock exciting characters along the way.

Squad Busters is certainly a promising game and could very well be, in our opinion, a massively popular title in the future. That said, its release couldn't come sooner. We'll show what we know so far about the game's release date and what new features you can expect to see in it.

Squad Busters Will Be Released In May

Squad Busters is expected to be released in the second half of 2024. However, the official release date will ultimately depend on how well its soft launch performs and if any serious issues arise.

Supercell recently commenced the game's soft launch in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Norway, Singapore, Spain, and Sweden on April 23, 2024. That said, the game is currently available in these countries for both Android and iOS players.

To mark the beginning of the soft launch, several new additions will be entering Squad Busters. It includes the likes of Character Evolution Forms, powerful Mega Units, and the Gem Pass.

A new world inspired by Boom Beach, known as Beach World, will also be added during this period. It will introduce three characters, namely Heavy, Penny, and Tank. This world will have a unique set of modifiers and monsters. Beach World joins other worlds such as Green, Desert, and Royal.

A soft launch is crucial in any mobile game's development roadmap. It symbolizes the final step before the game's eventual rollout. Supercell will be using this phase to test how well the game can support large player lobbies and to help identify potential issues that may arise when the game is fully launched.

Once Supercell has ironed out any wrinkles, Squad Busters will finally be ready for its global launch. When that time comes around, you can download the game from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or any other trusted app store.
