COD Mobile esports gets bigger and better each year and, in 2024, this will be no different as the annual competition, which decides who's the best COD Mobile team in the entire world, ramps up with more regions and even more matches. Players from regions such as Japan, Latin America, North America, Europe, and India will be able to participate in the proceedings.

For the second year running, Activision and ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) have partnered up to deliver this year's competitive circuit. Teams will have to climb their way through EFG's Snapdragon Pro Series – currently in its fifth season – to secure their spot in the World Championship Finals at the end of the year.

To help you familiarize yourself with the 2024 COD Mobile World Championship, we'll explain the format of the competitive circuit and provide an overview of the key dates you'll want to note to stay in the loop.

The competition will unfold over the course of seven stages: Open Solo Qualifiers, Open Team Qualifiers, the Mobile Open Qualifiers, the Mobile Open Finals, the Mobile Challenge Season, the Mobile Challenge Finals, and the World Championship Finals.

The first two stages invite players to test their mettle and see if they have what it takes to qualify for this year's competition. In the Open Solo Qualifiers stage, players can register in-game, compete in ranking games, and earn points to help them qualify for the Team stage.

The latter Open Team Qualifiers Stage will see COD Mobile teams compete in Ranked Matches to earn qualification points, with amounts earned based on the player's rank. The Top 128 teams from each region with the highest points qualify for the Mobile Open Qualifiers.

The competition heats up at this stage as the qualified teams will go against one another to secure their place in the next stage, the Mobile Open Finals, as one of the lucky 128 teams. There, these teams will be shortened to 8 teams through a series of matches. The winning teams will qualify for the Mobile Challenge Season.

In the Mobile Challenge Season, the top 8 teams will compete in a broadcasted bracket, with the top 4 teams from each region qualifying for the Mobile Challenge Finals. In this stage, the teams will participate in a double-elimination bracket with two teams advancing to the World Championship Finals.

In the highly-anticipated World Championship Finals, the qualified teams will duke it out to win the coveted trophy and title as the best COD Mobile team in the world for 2024.
