Unlike COD Mobile, where Assault Rifles are suffering from the SMG meta, ARs in PUBG Mobile outperform SMGs and other type of guns. Thus, even the weakest assault riffle would be more powerful than a mid-tier submachine gun or LMG.

S-Tier
The S-Tier assault rifles are:

A-Tier
