Although SMGs don't dominate as they do in COD Mobile, there are many fans of Sumbachine Guns in PUBG Mobile. Because of their simplicity and pure power, SMGs are widely used by newcomers for early game and close-range encounters.

Moreover, even experienced players use SMGs in PUBG Mobile due to their reliability and ease of use.

If you want to know the best weapon to use in this category, check out this article. We've prepared an ultimate PUBG Mobile SMG tier list. Moreover, we considered the latest weapon balance changes that made SMGs a bit more powerful compared to ARs.

There are 6 SMGs available in PUBG Mobile. The most recent addition is the MP5K - a submachine gun chambered for 9mm ammunition.

SMGs are ideal for short to medium-range combat due to their low recoil, lightweight construction, and fast time-to-kill (TTK). That's why they are commonly used by beginners who prefer to use 0-recoil weapons.

Still, most SMGs have helpful attachments that allow you to tailor them to your play style. Our SMG tier list will rank the guns from S-tier (best) to F-tier (worst) and explain why they've found themselves where they are.

S-Tier

The S-Tier SMGs are:

  • UMP45
  • MP5K

The best SMGs in PUBG Mobile are the UMP45 and MP5K.

First place belongs to the UMP45, a versatile SMG that is known for its balanced stats. The UMP45 is a pure implementation of manageable recoil, decent attack range, and good damage multipliers. Its effectiveness can be improved with the right attachments and loadout setup

Coming in second is the MP5K. It has a high fire rate, and low recoil, and proves to be an easy weapon to use. The MP5K is lethal in close-quarters combat because of its extremely fast TTK.

A-Tier

The A-Tier SMGs are:

  • Tommy Gun
  • UZI
  • P90

The Tommy Gun and UZI are pretty similar to each other as both of them are known for their incredibly high fire rates.

Still, the Tommy Gun is comparably more of an AR. The firearm has a unique extended drum magazine with a substantial magazine capacity. Combine it with decent damage, and you'll get the perfect option for players who prefer sustained firefights.

The UZI, like the P90, is also a monster for players who love sustained firefights, but it's different. The weapon has a low damage offset by the ability to deliver a flurry of bullets in a few seconds. Still, both guns have a complex recoil pattern compared to other SMGs.

F-Tier

PUBG Mobile SMG Tier B

The F-Tier SMGs are:

  • Vector
  • PP-19 Bizon

Unfortunately, the F-tier contains the worst SMGs you can use in PUBG Mobile. In general, the Vector and PP-19 Bizon are not recommended unless you have no other choice.

The main reason for their rankings is due to their low damage multipliers that result in unacceptable time-to-kill (TTK) rates. In some cases, even pistols can be more effective than the Vector and PP-19 Bizon. We hope that devs will pay attention to this issue and make Bizon and Vector playable again.

As always, the rankings in this tier list offer insight into which SMG weapons are currently the best in PUBG Mobile. The effectiveness of each weapon may vary depending on the player and their respective skills.
