New State Labs will give players the opportunity to test new maps, game modes, and weapons in the near-future PUBG.
PUBG New State is readying up for one of its biggest updates yet, and part of that is the implementation of New State Labs, a test server for new features.
The New State Labs is set to go live with the v0.9.37 update when those lucky enough to get access will be able to play the new Akinta map and Bounty Royale game mode. "Lucky" because not everyone who wants to hop into New State Labs will be able to do so, as spaces are limited, and players will need to get a code, or an invite, to do so.

How To Get Access To New State Labs
There are two main ways you can get a Bounty Royale Play Ticket to gain access to New State Labs.
The first is via a livestream on August 18, the day the new update rolls out. During this livestream, a redeem code was revealed that will give you access to the Akinta: Bounty Royale New States Lab.
The livestream was at 11 am UTC on August 18.
The code given during the New States Lab's livestream is:

Spaces are limited, so if you want to get involved, head on over to the New State redemption center (you can see how in our PUBG New State redeem code guide) and get the code redeemed.
Once you have redeemed the code, you will receive an in-game mail with a Bounty Royale Play Ticket which you can claim. Once claimed, head back to the main menu and hit "enter" on the New State Labs icon. Use your ticket to unlock Bounty Royale.
Players who gain access to New State Labs can also invite one friend; they can do so from the New State Labs menu.

A second way of gaining access is via a select PUBG New State content creators who have been given codes to distribute to their followers. These are highly limited and likely your last resort for getting a Bounty Royale Play Ticket.
To play the new Akinta map, go to the map selection screen, click on the "Labs" tab, and select "Ankinta".
What Can Players Expect?
New State Labs will be an ongoing feature of PUBG New State, a test bed for the latest maps, game modes, weapons, and vehicles before they are introduced to the game proper.
The first New State Labs will feature Akinta, a brand new 3x3 km map, as well as Bounty Royale, a spin on the classic battle royale game mode.
Bounty Royale will see players place a virtual wager using Golden Chips on their performance. The aim of the game is to leave each match with more Golden Chips than it cost to enter.
The entry fee for each game increases the higher you climb up the Bounty Royale rank system.
At the start of the game, you will be able to select what gear you will spawn with; choose lower rarity gear, and you will be awarded more for a win; choose better gear, and the prize multiplier is reduced.
You can earn Golden Chips with kills, for surviving phases, and for placing in the top three. Care Packages also contain a large amount of Golden Chips—even more reason to head for those drops.
Before phase three, it is possible to redeploy twice; however, this will cost you Golden Chips.
