Interacting with the chest will ask for a Crystal Key. But, since the game doesn't tell players how exactly they can get a Crystal Key, finding it and opening the Crystal Chest becomes a daunting task to many players.

How To Get Crystal Key
In Pet Simulator 99, you can get the Crystal Key by progressing your Rank. Assuming you didn't know, the Crystal Key comes in two halves, the upper half and the lower half.
You can obtain the upper half of the Crystal Key by unlocking Rank 4 Reward 10 and the lower half of the key by unlocking Reward 15 of the same Rank.
Once you have the two halves, go to your inventory and click on any of the halves. Doing so will open a pop-up window asking for merging the key to form the complete Crystal Key.
Do it, and you will have your Crystal Key ready to be used in Pet Simulator 99.
How To Use Crystal Key
As mentioned earlier, you can use the Crystal Key to open the Crystal Chest found within the Castle in Area 3.
Head inside and interact with the Crystal Chest found on the right side of the Trading Plaza.
Doing so will open the chest and will reward you with some lucrative items.
