Wild Rift Patch 3.4: Champion Buffs, Nerfs, Adjustments, Rework

Patch 3.4 will buff, nerf, adjust, and rework certain Wild Rift champions. Let's go over all the changes that have come with this latest update.

Patch 3.4 has been an incredibly massive update in Wild Rift. In a long list that includes four new champions, item/enchant changes, a new season Wild Pass, the addition of the Emporium, and several new skins, this patch will definitely leave its mark on Wild Rift once it's released on September 15.

In addition to these new features, Riot will also introduce a series of champion changes that include buffs, nerfs, adjustments, and a rework. Here are all the details you need to know about them.

Wild Rift Patch 3.4 - Champion Buffs

Seven champions will be buffed in patch 3.4: Akali, Jayce, Leona, Samira, Sett, Varus, and Yasuo. The most notable champion here is Samira, who had a game-breaking bug not too long ago that left her incredibly overpowered. The buffs concerning other champions largely affect their abilities and health/damage increments per level.

Jayce
  • Mana recovery increased from 9 → 12.
  • Thundering Blow / Acceleration Gate cooldown decreased from 16 seconds → 14 seconds.
Leona
  • Solar Flare slow and stun duration increased from 1.5 seconds → 1.75 seconds.
Samira
  • Base health increased from 570 → 610.
  • Health per level increased from 105 → 115 (Health at level 15: 2080 → 2220).
  • Daredevil Impulse base bonus magic damage increased from 2 - 14 (Based on level) → 6 - 20 (Based on level).
  • Flair attack damage ratio increased from 75%/85%/95%/105% → 75%/90%/105%/120%.
Sett
  • Haymaker active attack damage ratio increased from 15% bonus attack damage → 20% bonus attack damage.
Varus
  • Attack damage growth increased from 2.65 → 3.6.
Yasuo
  • Attack damage per level increased from 2.65 → 3.6 (Attack damage at level 15 increased from 96 → 109).

Sion and Tristana are the only two champions to be nerfed in patch 3.4. Sion has been an unstoppable force in the Jungle so Riot is looking to balance him out in future games. Tristana, on the other hand, received an interesting nerf to her Explosive Charge controls.

  • Unstoppable Onslaught movement speed capped at 800.
Tristana
  • Rapid Fire cooldown increased from 16/15/14/13 seconds → 18/17/16/15 seconds.
  • Explosive Charge tap casting will now prioritize turrets over minions.
  • Explosive Charge will now prioritize targets with Tristana's bomb.

Jhin, Kayle, and Shyvana are the three champions that have received an adjustment in patch 3.4. The adjustments slightly tweak their abilities, so they'll mostly feel the same. Shyvana will feel the most different as her Dragon Descent ability controls were completely readjusted.

  • Divine Ascent passive hit damage rescaled from 12/16/20/24 + 15% ability power → 12/15/18/21 + 15% ability power.
  • Celestial blessing heal rescaled from 60/100/140/180 → 70/110/150/190.
  • Starfire Spellblade passive hit damage rescaled from 12/16/20/24 + 15% ability power → 12/15/18/21 + 15% ability power.
  • Divine Judgment cooldown rescaled from 95/80/65 seconds → 100/90/80 seconds.
Shyvana
  • Dragon's Descent dragon from adjusted from bonus 100/150/200 health → Gain 15% Omnivamp.

Wild Rift Patch 3.4 - Champion Reworks

Yuumi will be the only champion to receive a rework in patch 3.4 - and it's a massive one. Riot argues that she's been a point of frustration for many players and doesn't possess the abilities to win games. With that in mind, they'll be trying an unconventional approach to Yuumi in hopes that she will be less frustrating to play against while also letting Yuumi players feel more comfortable with her abilities.

  • Bop 'n' Block cooldown increased from 12/10/8/6 seconds → 18/15/12/9 seconds.
  • Bop 'n' Block shield value reworked from 60 - 410 + 35% ability power → 60 - 410 + 25% ability power.
  • Bob 'n' Block mana restoration removed.
  • Prowling Projectile is no longer gated by distance from your attached ally. Instead, it has a time-gated duration of 2.25 seconds only.
  • Prowling Projectile Empowered threshold reduced from 1 second → 0.75 seconds.
  • Prowling Projectile magic damage reworked from 60/100/140/180/220 + 30% ability power → 60/100/140/180/220 + 25% ability power.
  • Prowling Projectile Empowered magic damage reworked from 80/130/180/230/280 + 40% ability power + 2/4/6/8/10% Target's current health → 70/120/170/220/270 + 35% ability power + 1.5/3/4.5/6/7.5% Target's current health.
  • Prowling Projectile cooldown rescaled from 9/8/7/6/5 seconds → 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds.
  • You and Me! bonus attack damage granted to Yuumi and attached ally rescaled from 7.5/9/10.5/12+12/15/18/21% × ally bonus attack damage → 7.5/9/10.5/12+13/15/17/19% × ally bonus attack damage.
  • You and Me! bonus ability power granted to Yuumi and attached ally rescaled from 15/18/21/24 + 12/15/18/21% × ally bonus ability power → 15/18/21/24 + 13/15/17/19% × ally bonus ability power.
  • Zoomies mana cost reworked from 40/45/50/55 + 15% maximum mana → 80/90/100/110.
  • Zoomies movement speed reworked from 15% + 10% ability power → 15% + 5% ability power.
  • Zoomies heal value rescaled from 80/120/160/200 + 40% ability power → 20/30/40/50 +10% ability power.
  • Zoomies' healing now repeats the healing effect for the next 3 attacks or abilities within 5 seconds. This will affect Yuumi normally, or her attached ally if Yuumi is attached.
