If you've ever played Wild Rift before, then you know that it is an incredibly competitive game. Like the game's inspiration, League of Legends, this ruthless spirit is fueled by the action-packed Ranked mode.

To succeed in this mode and be recognized as one of the very best in the game, you'll need to climb through several tiers and win a multitude of ranked matches. Getting to the top is a tricky process and you'll need all the help you can get.

Here's a complete overview of Ranked mode in Wild Rift so you can fully grasp this competitive scene.

Wild Rift Rank Tiers: How Rank Distribution Works

There are eleven rank tiers in Wild Rift. Here they are in descending order:

  • Sovereign
  • Challenger
  • Grandmaster
  • Master
  • Diamond
  • Emerald
  • Platinum
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze
  • Iron

Note: Diamond and rank tiers below it are subdivided into four divisions. This means you will need to climb, for example, from Bronze IV to Bronze I before you can be promoted to Silver. Unlike League of Legends, no placement matches are needed for Ranked Mode in Wild Rift.

What Are Ranked Marks In Wild Rift?

Ranked Marks are small designs that are wrapped around your ranked tier portrait. It keeps track of your progress through each division.

You will earn a Ranked Mark for each match won. You will also lose a Ranked Mark for losing a match (except in the Iron and Bronze tier).

To ascend to a new tier, you'll just need to win a single game. There is no promotion series. However, this also means that if you run out of Ranked Marks in your current division/tier, you will be demoted to a lower division/tier.

What Is Ranked Fortitude In Ranked Mode?

Ranked Fortitude is a system that will protect your Ranked Marks. To get Ranked Fortitude, you must fill your Fortitude bar to get Loss Shields. These Loss Shields will then be consumed instead of when you lose a match instead of losing a Ranked Mark.

If you keep your win streak long enough with Ranked Fortitude, you will be able to earn two Ranked Marks for a win.
