Supercell has revealed that a new brawler called Mico will be introduced to Brawl Stars during the end-of-the-year Brawlidays update.
On the final day of this year's Brawl Stars World Championship Finals, a surprise Brawl Talk was held where a big announcement was made. It was revealed that a new Mythic brawler named Mico will be released to Brawl Stars as part of the game's annual Brawlidays update.
He will complete the Brawlywood trio and join celebrity brawlers Lola and Gray.
According to the lore provided, Mico believes "he is a big shot in the movie industry but in reality, he is the monkey holding the boom mic behind the scenes."
Regardless of his aspirations, Mico is truly one of the most exciting brawlers to date as he is the first character in the game to be able to jump with his main attack. With that said, here's a look at everything we know so far about Mico.
Mico Lands In Brawl Stars With A Unique Attack And An Explosive Super
With his main attack, Mico jumps in the air and deals damage upon landing. While leaping, he is immune from taking enemy damage.
You can utilize this special mechanic to dodge enemy fire in combat situations, leap over obstacles, or even use it to escape enemies. In any case, Mico is a low-HP brawler, so the ability to jump away will certainly be a life-saving tool to have under your belt.
Upon activating his Super, Mico will jump high into the sky until only his shadow is visible on the map. You can control his shadow to determine his landing spot. This circular shadow will grow in size the closer he is to the ground.
When he lands, Mico will deal massive damage to all nearby enemies.
How To Unlock Mico In Brawl Stars
Mico will be added to Brawl Stars on December 14, 2023. You can unlock Mico as a free gift during the Brawlidays update. Keep in mind that he will only be available for free for a limited time only, so be sure to unlock it as soon as possible.
The last time Supercell offered players a free brawler was during the Brawlidays updater in 2020 which saw Edgar released as a free gift during the event.
If you are unable to unlock him during this event, you will be able to get Mico at the Starr Road after the event ends.
