Brawl Stars September Balance Changes: Buffs, Nerfs, Adjustments

The latest round of balance changes has arrived in Brawl Stars! This comes after the new season recently kicked off earlier in September. Here are all the brawler buffs, nerfs, and adjustments!

Supercell has revealed that a surprise set of balance changes were snuck into the game during a recent maintenance break. It has been several weeks since Season 14, Robot Factory was released, and we've seen how the meta has shaped up after the introduction of two new brawlers. Their addition and the plight of several long-standing brawler issues meant that this was the right time for Supercell to jump in and restore balance to the game.

So without further ado, let's dive into all the balance changes that were recently introduced to Brawl Stars and which brawlers were nerfed, buffed, or adjusted.

Six brawlers received a buff in the September balance changes: Buzz, Jacky, Meg, Nita, Otis, and Pocco.

These are the brawler buffs in detail:

  • Base attack damage increased from 1,160 → 1,240
Meg
  • Attacks required to charge Super reduced from 8 hits → 7 hits
Nita
  • Base attack damage increased from 880 → 960
  • Attacks required to charge Super reduced from 6 hits → 5 hits
Otis
  • Base attack increased from 420 → 460 damage per projectile
  • Super: added dot damage that does 340 base damage per tick (3 without the Stencil Glue Star Power, but 3 with it equipped)
Pocco
  • Base attack damage increased from 700 → 800

Six brawlers were nerfed in the September balance changes: Bonnie, Carl, Crow, Janet, Penny, and Surge.

  • Attacks required to charge Super increased from 5 hits → 6 hits
Penny
  • Base HP reduced from 3,800 → 3,600
Surge
  • Power Shield Gadget ammo restore reduced from 3 ammo → 2 ammo

Three brawlers received minor adjustments in the September balance changes: Lola, Stu, and Gus - one of the two new brawlers introduced to Brawl Stars in Season 14.

  • Power League Freezes and Crashes
  • Fixed the voice line played when unlocking Otis.
