The infamous Hammer Jam event has returned to Clash of Clans. This could mean that Supercell could be introducing Town Hall 15 soon!
Hammer Jam has returned to Clash of Clans for a limited time! This event will grant everyone 50% off all Home Village building and upgrade costs. Hammer Jam will run from September 27 until October 10.
Two weeks is a long time to cram in all your expensive buildings and upgrade costs. But, there is a broader picture here. Hammer Jam is an event that Supercell just doesn't spontaneously announce. It usually indicates the arrival of something bigger. In this case, it's the arrival of the highly-anticipated Town Hall 15.
Hammer Jam Signals The Potential Arrival Of Town Hall 15
Hammer Jam is a big indicator that the Town Hall 15 update could be coming to Clash of Clans soon. We've always seen an announcement regarding a new Town Hall update shortly after the Hammer Jam event concludes. This was true for the past three updates - that being for Town Hall Levels 12, 13, and 14.
Supercell has already confirmed that Town Hall 15 is coming in 2022. However, the exact date has been a mystery. The devs have maintained a loose schedule of eighteen months in between Town Hall updates. If we follow this, Town Hall 15 should arrive in October 2022, as Town Hall 14 was introduced in April 2021.
Given the track record of Hammer Jam working as an indicator of a new update and how it fits well within the update schedule, we could potentially see the Town Hall 15 update soon.
Supercell Has Begun Prepping The Home Village For Town Hall 15
Shortly after the announcement of the Hammer Jam event, Supercell took a quick maintenance break - presumably for the implementation of the new event. But, you would've noticed a new in-game message regarding changes to the Barracks system that will be introduced in an upcoming game update.
Hey Chief! Our Builder's alarm clock encountered some issues, so we will take a quick maintenance break soon and see if we can wake him up on time... We'll be back ASAP! pic.twitter.com/Gj6p7CJXJT

In the October update, Supercell will remove all extra Barracks and Dark Barracks buildings in favor of keeping only one of each. That means you'll have to say goodbye to having four barracks and two dark barracks. Only the highest level version will be kept, but troop training time will remain the same.
Having these extra buildings already proved redundant after Supercell removed troop training costs. However, this could confirm one of the biggest suspicions: A new Hero or base defense could be coming in the Town Hall 15 update.
As it currently stands, there are 100 buildings when you reach Town Hall 14. Supercell has often stressed a soft rule regarding a 100-building limit in the Home Village. The removal of four Barracks buildings could clear the path for a new base defense or Hero - or maybe both.
