Bats are arguably one of Clash Royale's most popular staple deck picks. It's low-cost partnered with its ability to summon a swarm of airborne troops make it a difficult card to counter on most occasions.

While it's already a powerful Common card, it also has a Card Evolution version. This allows it to gain improved stats and a special ability after the normal card is played a certain number of times.

The Bats Evolution was released to Clash Royale in Season 52.

That said, here is everything you need to know about this Card Evolution.

The Bats Evolution will see this swarm of flying beasts gain the ability to heal with each attack. The heal will only be given to the Bat that attacks.

This ability greatly solves one of the main issues with the base card - the Bats' low HP. Pair this Bats Evolution card with a Rage spell and you will have an effectively invincible army that can heal just as much as it can take damage.

This card is best inserted in decks that also have other airborne troops so that they can provide cover for the Bats and prevent them from being eliminated before reaching their target.

Alternative pairings for the Bats Evolution are Lava Golems, Balloons, and the Phoenix.

Any Card Evolution will have upgraded stats in comparison to its base card version. This is no different for the Bats.

Here is an overview of the Bats Evolution's stats:

  • HP increased by 50% compared to the base card
  • Ability heals an attacking Bat for 76 HP after each attack (31% of max HP) at Card Level 11
  • Number of Cycles required: 2

These stats are powerful for a card of this nature. However, keep in mind that they can be altered in the future if Supercell decides to implement balance changes.
