When Call of Duty: Mobile's Season 8: Train to Nowhere rolls around, you may be seeing a lot less cheaters in your lobbies, as the game is reportedly getting improved anti-cheat systems, designed to make it harder for hackers to manipulate the game's files.

That's the information coming from COD: Mobile leaker, Plastic Leaks Food, who regularly and reliably gets the jump on new additions and features coming to the game.

According to Plastic Leaks Food, Season 8 will have an improved system "for detecting plug-in third party programs," and updated systems "for detecting and blocking offenders trying to infiltrate game files." Hacks like aimbots and wallhacks, to you and me.

It also promises greater detection of "unauthorized changes in player characters." Which reads to us like an improved ability to detect hacks through AI logic, rather than simply through the more traditional way of maintaining the game files' integrity.

Any regular player of COD: Mobile will be over the moon at this news, as hackers are a fairly regular sight, especially in the game's ranked mode. COD: Mobile does already have an anti-cheat and a live reporting system, but, again, it's obvious to many players that hacks, such as aimbots and wallhacks, are present in the game.

Of course, this is just a leak, and the developers have yet to confirm that any improved anti-cheat is in force, which, if they do choose to confirm it (they may not), will likely happen with the pre-Season 8 Community Update.

That hasn't been released yet, though it won't be long, as Season 8 is set to launch this week, on September 7.

A new anti-cheat is only one potential addition to many confirmed features arriving with the seasonal update, with the classic Zombies mode set to return, two new weapons in the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle and Butterfly Knife melee, alongside a new espionage-themed battle pass.
