A round of weapon balance changes are once again coming to Call of Duty: Mobile in Season 8 (2022).
For all the changes in a new seasonal update for Call of Duty: Mobile, there are a few constants with fans of the game always sure that a new battle pass will be there to grind, some new weapons to try out, and a raft of weapon balance changes, and Season 8: Train to Nowhere is no different.
This time around, the battle pass is espionage-themed, the new weapons are the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle and Butterfly Knife melee, and the weapon balance changes look like they are going to shake up the meta once again.
Getting a buff is the PPSh-41 submachine gun, a weapon that has been buffed in the last two seasonal updates and surely now a competitor to the all-powerful CBR4 and MAC-10.
There are also a raft of buffs and nerfs to items and Operator perks, including the most recent addition The Claw, which has seen its ricocheted bullets now buffed to deal full damage.

While they don't provide exact figures, we do learn of the general direction the developers are taking the meta, and in Season 8, it looks like Operator perks and munitions like throwable munitions like Flashbangs and Molotov's are getting tweaked across the board.
