The launch of Season 1: Reawakening has brought the Lunar New Year to Call of Duty: Mobile and, with it, the new Red Letter event.

This event is a big one, spanning two whole seasons, and includes its store, full of rewards for players to unlock.

The key to unlocking these rewards is collecting the new seasonal currency, Limited Time Tickets (LTTs), which can be earned in several ways, with the game's battle royale mode being the most consistent method.

Once you obtain these LTTs, you exchange them for lucky draw spins or crates populated with weapon blueprints, operator skins, and other in-game cosmetics.

If you want to know more, including the rewards available and how best to get the LTTs, check out our guide below.

Red Letter Event - Start And End Time

As mentioned before, the Red Letter event and its LTTs will span two seasons.

It started with the launch of Season 1 (January 15) and will end on March 12.

After that, LTTs will become useless, so make sure you spend them in the Limited Time Store before it's all over.

Where To Find Limited Time Tickets

Limited Time Tickets will be mainly earned in two ways: through the Limited Time Tickets: Ranked Series event and the game's battle royale mode.

There is a third way to earn some bonus LTTs, and that is through the Limited Time Tickets Double Rebate. Once you collect 1,000 LTTs, you can redeem a further 1,000 through this event. So, once you complete the ranked series event and earn some more through the game's battle royale, we suggest you do this to maximize your time.

Now, back to the ranked series event, which is the best way to get started. This event can earn you 800 LTTs, and to do so, you will need to complete four challenges, all related to the game's ranked mode.

The challenges and rewards for each are:

Challenge
Limited Time Tickets
  • Reach Pro status in multiplayer ranked series matches

OR

  • Reach Pro status in battle royale ranked series matches
200
  • Reach Master status in multiplayer ranked series matches

OR

  • Reach Master status in battle royale ranked series matches
300
  • Reach Veteran status in multiplayer ranked series matches

OR

  • Reach Veteran status in battle royale ranked series matches
100
  • Reach Elite status in multiplayer ranked series matches

OR

  • Reach Elite status in battle royale ranked series matches
200

Once you complete this event, you will need just another 200 LTTs to complete the rebate.

To get those 200 and many more, you will need to dip into the battle royale mode, specifically the Isolated map.

In the BR mode, there are four ways to get your hands on LTTs, and it should be noted you can only collect 40 LTTs per match.

Rabbit Lanterns

A good way to get some LTTs is by finding Rabbit Lanterns. Fortunately, they are pretty easy to find, as they not only appear on the mini-map as a huge slightly opaque red circle, but they also move around and emit a festive tune.

To get the LTTs and potentially some high-tier loot, shoot these Rabbit Lanterns until they explode. You can expect to get at least two LTTs from each Rabbit Lantern.

Spring Festival Balloons

Another way is by finding the Spring Festival balloons; again, this is relatively easy as they are floating high in the air across the map.

Simply shoot the balloons and then open the red crates that they drop.

Like the Rabbit Lanterns, you can expect to get at least two LTTs from a crate.

Complete Scylla's Quests

Another way to get LTTs is to complete Scylla's quests.

Scylla can be found at the entrance to the new T3 - Refinery POI and will have two quests to complete at any time. They are all relatively easy; usually, go here or drive there.

Scylla's missions reward you with up to five LTTs.

Kill People

Another way to pick up some LTTs is by doing what the battle royale is all about - killing people! Downed opponents will usually drop two LTTs.

On January 21, another avenue for gaining LTTs will become available, with the launch of the Limited Time Ticket: Login Blitz.

The details for this event have not yet been revealed, but will likely be a daily login challenge. It has an end date of January 28.

Red Letter Event - Rewards

There are a plethora of rewards available in the Limited Time Ticket Store, with two lucky boxes, three bundles, and a smattering of other in-game cosmetics.

The lucky boxes, Opera Blues and Bun Bun Gun, work like lucky boxes seen in the regular store, with each subsequent spin costing more LTTs. The first spin costs 30 LTTs.

There is also the Magic World section of the store. Here you can purchase two bundles: Quick Click Boom and Hardened Steel, as well as a series of cheaper single items.

Remember, after the end of the Red Letter event, LTTs will become useless, so make sure you spend them all before the start of what will be Season 3.
