Season 6 "To the Skies" of Call of Duty: Mobile is nearing release, here is everything you need to know including the release date, leaks, and more.

Fans of Call of Duty: Mobile are gearing up for the release of Season 6 "To the Skies" with a brand new Battle Pass, weapons, and events all coming to the game. Last time around, the heat was turned up for Tropical Vision which introduced the Oden and Echo Grenade along with the first female-led Battle Pass.

But what is in store for this season? The addition of the long-rumored Jackal has been confirmed but, thankfully, players not quick enough to fighter jet will be able to take it out using a brand new anti-aircraft battery. Celebrating these new pieces of hardware will be a brand new JACKAL: Fueled Up Themed event.

That is not all, a new map, Favela, based on one seen in Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be making an appearance, as well as a new Battle Pass, Seasonal Challenges, and a Weeklong Summer Sale. For everything you need to know about COD: Mobile Season 6, check out our breakdown below.

COD: Mobile Season 6 - Release Date And Trailer

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 now has its official release date with the developers confirming today that it will be released on Wednesday, June 29 at 5 pm PT.

Players can expect a new Battle Pass, events, game modes, and weapons. The arrival of the Jackal fighter jet to the battle royale mode has been confirmed.

COD: Mobile Season 6 - New Map Favela

Set in the slums of Rio de Janeiro with its patchwork of houses and narrow passageways, players will mainly be engaged in close-quarters combat - with flanking through the network of alleyways key to success. A medium-sized map, the developers promise there is plenty for snipers to enjoy with piles of rumble offering up the perfect hiding spot.

COD: Mobile Season 6 - Two New SMGs

Arriving as part of the Season 6 Battle Pass, the KSP 45 sub-machine gun is entering the game. Its arrival is not a surprise as leakers have previously claimed that its addition was imminent.

Players will need to unlock the Battle Pass up to level 21, with a Legendary Weapon Blueprint also available at a higher tier.

Also available later in the season is another compact weapon, this time the machine pistol, L-CAR 9. This pocket rocket will be available through a set of challenges released at the mid-way point of the season. Check back with us for a guide on how to unlock.

Starting from July 6, a Summer Sale will be hitting the in-game store promising the return of some fan-favorite cosmetics. The sale boasts the return of Rising Tides Draw and will offer discounts of up to 10% to 35% on Crates from both To the Skies and exclusive summer-themed content. The Summer Sale will end on July 24.
