What is the best sniper/marksman rifle in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 (2024)? Our tier list reveals all.
Call of Duty: Mobile has a vast arsenal of weapons for players to choose from, everything from a butterfly knife to a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher.
And while submachine guns currently dominate the COD: Mobile meta, that doesn't mean no other weapon class gets a look in. Such as sniper rifles, which continue to be a great choice in the right hands, capable of excelling in both standard multiplayer and battle royale game modes.
There are currently 18 sniper/marksman rifles in the game, including the new LW3-Tundra bolt action sniper that got added with theSeason 1 (2024) 'Soldeir's Tale' update last season, which can make picking the best one difficult.
Especially when you consider the huge array of attachments available for each and the recent buffs that Kilo Bolt Action received in Season 6.
Thankfully, help is at hand as we have put together a sniper/marksman rifle tier list that ranks all 18 guns from best to worst.
COD: Mobile Season 6 (2024) - Sniper/Marksman Rifle Tier List
Sniper rifles and marksman rifles are actually two separate weapon classes in COD: Mobile - however, we have opted to rank them together as they broadly serve the same purpose once you get them in the lobby.
In terms of differences, sniper rifles are harder-hitting, bulkier weapons, while marksman rifles have a faster fire rate and are usually lighter, offering up a greater degree of mobility.
Both classes excel at long-range engagements, with high-velocity rounds and usually some form of magnified scope. They are also capable of dropping opponents in one or two shots.
Our sniper/marksman rifle tier list will rank the guns from S (the best) to D (the worst) and explain why they've found themselves where they are.
S-Tier
- Kilo Bolt Action (After Season 6 buff)
- LW3-Tundra
- ZRG 20mm
- DL Q33
- SKS
- HDR
The LW3-Tundra slaps in COD: Mobile! It is by far one of the best snipers in the game and not just because it is new, but it boasts a well balance stat with very high damage and control.
The HDR sniper rifle offers high damage, range, and accuracy enough to work on almost every map available in the game. Normally, the weapon would fit in the A tier, but if you use the best attachments that go well with HDR, it transitions to the S tier.
That aside, the ZRG 20mm is still a great choice. This sniper rifle boasts incredible firepower and is now the only true rival - when it comes to bona fide sniper rifles - to the DL Q33. With the Anti-Vehicle Mag attached, the ZRG 20mm is a one-shot to anywhere on the body, making it lethal in the right hands.
The previous king and still a top-tier sniper rifle is the DL Q33. A hard-hitter with insane accuracy, the DL Q33 has long been considered the most well-rounded sniper rifle, and with its recoil being improved - it's as good as ever.
The best marksman rifle in the game is undisputedly the SKS. An impressive fire rate, deadly accuracy, and high damage output make it an absolute fiend in the right hands. Plenty of attachments help make it customizable for a number of functions, whether you like to play in the mid or long-range.
A-Tier
- XPR-50
- Koshka
- SVD
The XPR-50 was improved massively during Season 9 - even with its subsequent 'shadow' nerf. Relatively fast-firing and with impressive damage range make the XPR-50 a truly fearsome sniper rifle - bested only by the two listed above because of their one-shot potential.
A rival to the DL Q33, but not quite its equal, is the Koshka. a more mobile gun than the DL Q33, the Koshka suffers when it comes to damage range, with ur shots becoming more and more ineffectual the further your target is from you. This is one for standard multiplayer matches, but choose something else for battle royale.
The SVD is for snipers who like to keep on the move. With a relatively high fire rate, good mobility, and decent recoil, the SVD allows you to suppress enemies effectively at a distance. Its range and damage aren't too bad either.
B-Tier
- Rytec AMR
- Locus
- SP-R 208
The Rytec AMR is a huge gun, and it packs a serious punch; with high damage and ridiculous range, the Rytec AMR is perfect for the battle royale, but its low fire rate and mobility mean it will struggle in standard multiplayer matches.
The Locus is very similar to the Rytec AMR and faces many of the same issues. They are even more pronounced with this sniper rifle as its mobility is even worse than the gun above. Again, it has its uses in BR, but consider something else in MP.
The second marksman rifle on our list, the SP-R 208, certainly has its fans. That's in large part because of its extensive range of attachments which allow you to improve some of the gun's more glaring weaknesses. Good mobility is offset by poor range, and you will want to look at adding a different barrel to this gun if you choose to run it.
C-Tier
- Arctic .50
- Outlaw
At one time, the Arctic .50 was all anyone could talk about on account of its overpowered nature, but those days are long gone. This heavy-hitting sniper rifle is still one of the quickest to ADS, but it's bested by the DL Q33 and Koshka.
The Outlaw is a lightweight bolt-action sniper with plenty of redeeming qualities, though it sits in an awkward place between a marksman rifle such as the SVD and a higher caliber sniper rifle like the DL Q33, and that makes it difficult to pick.
The Kilo Bolt Action is a no-slouch and a perfectly viable weapon in the right hands. You will, however, need to hit the first shot as the bolt action isn't the quickest, meaning that any further second shot might come too late.
D-Tier
- NA-45
- M21 EBR
- MK2
Low damage and poor accuracy, the hallmarks of a good sniper rifle, are sadly missing with the NA-45 - avoid it at all costs.
Another semi-auto sniper, but unlike the XPR-50, this one has decent damage output. But for all the M21 EBR's qualities, for some reason, it just doesn't translate to good real-world performance. Needs a rework before you should consider picking it up.
The last of the marksman rifles and the last in our list, the MK2 isn't a poor gun, but if you want a bolt-action marksman rifle, there are two better ones: the Kilo Bolt Action and SP-R 208.
